《不想再戀愛》單曲封面是用槙原對著歌曲影片出場的狗作耳語交談的照片。同名標題曲曾被選為脚本错误：没有“ilh”这个模块。主演日本電視台電視劇《脚本错误：没有“ilh”这个模块。》的主題歌曲使用。
其創作背景來自當時槙原的support鍵盤手脚本错误：没有“ilh”这个模块。（現色情塗鴉的製作人）剛好失戀，因此這首歌就是槙原特意為他所作。歌詞描寫主人公在失戀之後對以前戀人的一切都充滿戀愛，但自己實在太愛對方了，所以絕不再說「不想再戀愛」。於初次發售的第一週剛好遇到B'z的《BLOWIN'》，因此未能取得Oricon公信榜冠軍，結果排名在第2名[1]。
總銷量高達139.7萬張，是槙原第2張銷量超過百萬的單曲，也是他迄今銷量第二高的單曲，僅次於《無論何時。》。於1992年度日本單曲銷量排名在第7名[2]。
至今，「不想再戀愛」依然被公認是失戀為主題的代表歌曲。稍早在2007年2月18日，廣播劇節目「脚本错误：没有“ilh”这个模块。」故事主人翁安部禮司與戀人、岩月加奈2人離別時（播出）就以這首歌曲當節目片尾曲使用。得知此事的槙原後來上該節目向聽眾粉絲表示「這首歌曲會被（電台節目）使用，在此我要感謝」，並在節目中進行客串。
還有，「不想再戀愛」也在《脚本错误：没有“ilh”这个模块。》（2005年發售）、《脚本错误：没有“ilh”这个模块。》（2006年發售）、《脚本错误：没有“ilh”这个模块。》（2007年發售）這3張合輯中收錄。
至於B面歌曲「夏天的SPEED（脚本错误：没有“lang”这个模块。）」雖然當時沒有在槙原他的個人專輯收錄。但是後來在2013年3月20日發行的Best Album《脚本错误：没有“ilh”这个模块。》首度收錄。另外遊戲《波波羅古洛伊斯物語》[注 1]中『フライヤーヨットの[[Category:含有Template:ISO 639 name ja的條目]]飛翔』使用的原曲就是取自於這首歌曲。
