生平[编辑]
习宗德是河南邓县十林镇习家营村人。其父习永盛于1882年由邓县迁徙至陕西富平县淡村乡[1]，三年后习宗德出生。习宗德曾在三原县一家水烟行做学徒，长兄（小名老虎）曾在董福祥部下参军[2]。1911年10月，习宗德与从南阳淅川迁徙至淡村乡都村的柴菜花成婚，婚后共生子女七人，包括长子习仲勋。1928年，习宗德积劳成疾，因病去世，享年43岁。
