歷史沿革[编辑]
宜蘭高商高中生陳柏宏曾於Yahoo!奇摩部落格、無名小站創設氣象網誌空間，後來夥同數名氣象同好者於2009年6月創立網站，並定名為「台灣颱風論壇」。
成立初期，使用網址 taiwan-typhoon.freebbs.tw 提供服務，由於原伺服器使用免費虛擬主機空間，後因龐大流量無法負荷及穩定性欠佳，而改為租用威普網站服務有限公司所提供的商業虛擬主機服務，網址亦改為當今的 twtybbs.com 。目前以使用者點閱廣告為主要營運維持經費來源。2017年8月以「台灣颱風論壇資訊科技」之名稱向宜蘭縣政府進行商業登記。商業統一編號為72629183，負責人為陳柏宏，組織類型為獨資，地址位於宜蘭縣蘇澳鎮。

批踢踢大氣科學板板聚[编辑]
台灣颱風論壇與批踢踢大氣科學板於2015年起共同舉辦聯合板聚[1]，由雙方管理人員於當日舉辦各種活動與專題演說。每年PTT大氣科學板板聚皆會邀請不同的氣象相關專家或預報人員進行相關的專題演說。
