维基百科[编辑]
中国官方管理着中国大陆合法的VPN。维基百科有许多中国官方所不能容忍的敏感内容。在2020年4月份之前，中国大陆维基百科用户还可以通过合法VPN浏览敏感性条目，如六四运动。但是在4月份后，大陆用户用合法VPN在维基百科中搜索六四运动直接会显示找不到该条目或者显示404 page not found!非法VPN不受影响。
YouTube[编辑]
同维基百科一样，YouTube也有许多政治敏感信息。在2019年11月份前，中国大陆合法VPN还可以浏览这些信息。但是现在，中国大陆合法的VPN通过墙中墙在YouTube中自动屏蔽BBC中文，美国之音中文等西方媒体。中国政府放开了墙，允许民众使用合法VPN浏览YouTube和维基百科，但又建造了一个篱笆，审核政治敏感信息。非法VPN不受影响。
