大同之家

大同之家興建於民國42年（1953），為時任美援運用委員會主任委員嚴家淦先生（後繼任為臺灣第五任總統）為爭取美援而規劃，由臺灣銀行與聯勤總部外事處合建，作為接待美軍援華顧問團之用，現為國定古蹟。

歷史

民國64年（1975），轉為供時任總統嚴家淦先生接待貴賓與辦公的官邸附屬建築空間，於嚴家淦先生去世後，臺灣銀行將此空間規劃為臺灣銀行第二辦公室。

建築物二樓為鋼筋混凝土構造，外牆均為洗石子裝飾。平面似「八」字型，左右二翼交會處為主入口，八角形門廳上方的天花板，繪以中國式建築彩繪圖案，中央並飾以八角藻井，極具特色；其空間規劃除有交誼室、會議室外，其餘空間為套房，主要供接待美援顧問。

從其設立背景，與嚴家淦故居及自由之家地緣位置與各時期用途，足以詮釋臺灣戰後重建時期、國際外交敏感時期之歷史脈絡完整性。
