车站结构[编辑]
常平南站为地下车站，其上盖为东莞翔龙天地购物广场，目前只开放A出入口，售票处、候车区位于车站地下一层，莞惠城铁股道位于地下二层，设二台二线，两条侧线靠近站台并装有屏蔽门。

鄰近交通[编辑]
本站在線路開業後仍未如期完成建造（車站出入口外圍），但列車仍然會停靠此站。由於車站外圍設施尚未建造完成，至目前仍需步行前往該車站，無停靠的巴士線路，附近的公車站有振兴中学站、常平一小站。車站外圍設施完工後，附屬的公車站名為「常平城軌南站」，常平13路/6路兩條巴士線會停靠該站。[1][2]
旁邊是祥龍天地廣場。
