1985年，广州市肿瘤医院正式成立。2006年1月20日，“广州市肿瘤医院”移交广州医学院管理，并更名为“广州医学院附属肿瘤医院”[2]。2013年，因“广州医学院”更名为“广州医科大学”[3]，“广州医学院附属肿瘤医院”更名为“广州医科大学附属肿瘤医院”。

南沙院区[编辑]
南沙院区位于南沙区万顷沙镇。该院区于2022年10月28日开工[4]，2023年12月31日实现主体结构封顶[5][6][7]。
肿瘤研究所[编辑]
广州医科大学肿瘤研究所，是广州医科大学附属肿瘤医院的下属机构，于1990年4月6日正式成立[8]。
