生平[编辑]
1970年代末開始參演麗的電視劇集，如《大地恩情》，已演出一些無名角色，但他最教人印象深刻的是香港教育電視中，多演出一些家長或具有正義感中年男子的角色。而他1990年代後期，也成為香港電台電視節目《城市論壇》的常客，常在節目中以現場觀眾身份發表意見。
張彼得分別參加了1999年香港區議會選舉及2003年香港區議會選舉，同樣是參選葵青區興芳選區，兩次對手同樣是來自民主黨的吳劍昇，張彼得分別以634票及913票落敗。
