青山國民小學成立距今98年，其校名沿革從員林公學校，進而湖水公學校、湖水國民學校、台中縣員林鎮湖水國民學校、彰化縣員林鎮湖水國民學校、青山國民學校、青山國民小學
學校沿革[编辑]
青山國民小學是由本地士紳盧福來等鄉紳鑒於本地區學童就學不便，發起創校，歷經台中州指令第九五二號准予設校，校名為【員林公學校柴頭井分教場】，台中州告示第43號廢止柴頭井分教場，同時學校獨立為「湖水公學校」，學級編制十三班，校名改為「湖水國民學校」，實施縣治，校名改為「台中縣員林鎮湖水國民學校」，實施地方自治後，校名改為「彰化縣員林鎮湖水國民學校」，校名又由「湖水國民學校」改為「青山國民學校」與「湖水國民學校」區分，實施九年國民教育，奉令改稱「青山國民小學」。
