- 9月12日，一名林姓大學生於化工系頂樓上吊自殺。[3]
- 10月30日，一名張姓博士班學生於橋下上吊自殺。[4]
- 11月17日，一名劉姓大學生於校外租屋處燒炭尋短，急救後宣告不治。16日亦傳出一對學生情侶在新北市淡水租屋處輕生。[5]

在台大學生輕生事件後教育部曾發文各校重視學生。注意模仿效應。之後卻仍傳出台北海洋科技大學一對情侶燒炭輕生。[6]國家政策研究基金會召開「青春哀歌？！正視青少年自殺率飇升的問題」記者會，專家指出，依《學生輔導法》規定，專科以上學校輔導師生比至少須1：1200，但去年大專院校有4成6學校在人數上不符規定，青少年自殺通報人數更逾9000人，教育部須深刻檢討。[7]
