歷史沿革[编辑]
1993年成立，隸屬於新竹市立文化局，1997年由團長洪雪艷及指揮兼藝術總監劉江濱接任，全力投入於樂團整頓工作，以專業態度帶領由學生組成的業餘樂團，引進考核制度逐步提高國樂水準，使樂團步入新的層次，多次邀請大陸一級國樂演奏家合作演出，專業水準獲得多位演奏家肯定，屢次獲選為文化局扶植團隊及新竹市藝文團隊評比第一名，被譽為台灣最具潛力及活力的青年國樂團。
