2009年11月8日，方志勇于YouTube上传第一支影片。
2012年，他中学毕业后，为本地歌手黄俊焰拍摄了他的单曲MV《外人》。
2016年7月，正式转为全职YouTuber。
2018年4月28日，他于YouTube和Facebook上载翻唱自黄明志和王力宏《漂向北方》的视频《漂向对岸》，呼吁公众在来临的509大选中投票，两天内获得逾34万次观看，并被新马两国主流媒体报导[1][2][3]。
2019年5月26日，方志勇在其YouTube频道发布第一首原创歌曲《爱到星球毁灭》的MV。
2019年7月12日，方志勇在其YouTube频道发布与陈泇彤合唱的第一首原创歌曲《有点喜欢你》的MV。
2020年9月18日，方志勇在Instagram直播证实离开creator studios，同时他的主管身份已交给他的好友陈泇彤(彤彤)接替其主管身份，但他依然和彤彤及他们的幕后团队一起搬迁到新的工作室（随后正式离开）。
2020年11月，Cody与表弟林唐杰和妹妹joanne正式成立cdy fam工作室。
