林資健的父親為林世鏗，為家中老六。16歲時，林資健前往加拿大多倫多George Brown College留學，修讀時裝設計，並於2002年畢業回港。一年後，他在父親資助下，和哥哥開了一間公司，名為葵鏗皮革皮草有限公司。2009年，他獲勳為香港青年工業家奬。[4]
社會事務[编辑]
林資健為香港2009青年工業家奬得主、第五屆廣東揭陽市政協委員、第六屆廣東揭陽市政協委員會顧問、香港區潮人聯會副會長以及香港西區警區睦鄰守護計劃籌備委員會主席等。[5][6][7]

林資健已婚，並育有兩個女兒和一個兒子。[8]
