脚本错误：没有“main”这个模块。 梁育誌出生於高雄阿蓮，於三兄弟中排行老二。父親是基督徒，曾帶他參加宗教活動。梁育誌在18歲從私立高職畢業後，因無升學意願，隨即入伍，退伍後無固定工作，並在家裏當啃老族，打電動度日。[1] 梁在2012年8月從民宅曬衣場偷走一件女性內褲，並在2013年9月潛入民宿盜竊失敗被逮，並坦承犯下5次盜竊內褲案，被判處290天拘役，梁父因而籌出29萬元罰金，才使梁回復自由身。[2] 而梁育誌由阿嬤一手帶大，但阿嬤於2015年逝世，對梁造成打擊。梁育誌後來到螺絲工廠、加油站工作，偶然在幫忙在家旁的廟會活動，並貸款買車代步，以便接載親友叔伯看病。梁鄰居懷疑梁因不光彩記錄被工作場合得知，因而失去工作，造成人格偏差行為。[3] 梁育誌喜歡在臉書分享搞笑影音及遊戲資訊，並在2019年4月在網上某遊戲論壇中留言要求玩家讓他加入公會升級。在命案發生後，梁的臉書及IG關閉。[4] 有民眾到其高雄住所外面前投擲雞蛋。梁被捕後收押高雄第二監獄。
