淨符

如實在無法取得，亦可自製「簡易淨符」。取「壽金」或「卦金」，或「金白錢」，甚至黃紙一張，在正面上以黑筆書「奉佛法旨唵啞吽」或「佛法僧寶唵啞吽」（「唵啞吽」可作「唵啊吽」）亦有人書「唵嘛呢叭咪吽清淨」，向神明請求，將此化作「淨符」，並繞過香爐三圈，即可成為「淨符」。
樣式[编辑]
「淨符」樣式甚多，如「三字總持符」、「六字真言符」、「九鳳破穢符」、「五雷淨水符」、「五龍吐水符」、「北斗押煞符」等等，各地流行的形制不一。可向廟宇、民間法師、葬儀社索討，或去金紙店購買，並必須取「淨符」向廟宇或者家中奉祀之神明禱告，繞過香爐三圈，方生效力。

使用時機[编辑]
相傳參與喪事告別式，或前往墓園、殯儀館，容易沾染煞氣，也有信眾出外遠遊、掃墓，或在特殊場所工作，佩戴淨符以保平安，於喪事中淨符廣爲人所使用，左鄰右舍之門戶，亦須貼淨符與小紅紙一張。
淨符是民間常見的符令，燒淨符，將灰燼擲入水中，稱「淨符水」，小嬰兒如果不好照顧，老一輩習慣以淨符水沐浴嬰兒，類似收驚的作用，希望嬰兒聽話、健康，其次。喪家辦完喪事，會依照習俗以淨符水洗身，送葬者往往會以手指沾淨符水，噴灑面目，象徵洗去厄運。入宅或買新車，也有人會用「淨符水」潑灑屋內或車內，保佑平安。
使用方法[编辑]
- 懸掛：貼於家門或房門口，一般用在鄰舍有人出殯，或附近有意外死亡事件等。
- 攜帶：將之對折，正面朝外，早年是穿線掛在胸口，作為護身符。一般不能帶入廁所，如廁時必須解下。如一定要帶入廁所，須以紅紙（紅包袋）包覆，不能在無覆蓋的情況下入廁。但現代人多放置口袋中或裝於錢包之中，如廁時並不取出，所以無此禁忌。
- 符水：將符咒焚化於開水中，噴灑自己的臉部、胸口、雙手，或者在家中潑灑。如講究者，會使用熱開水加上生水（或冷開水），是為「陰陽水」。亦有人在水中加上避邪的菖蒲、香茅、鹽、米、桃枝、艾草、抹草、榕樹葉等，認為效用更強。而剩餘的符水不能倒在馬桶或汙水溝，最尊敬的倒法是灑到河川或溪流，最起碼也要潑灑到戶外乾淨之處。
