独孤剑是游戏剑侠情缘一代的男主角。

汉族，相貌英俊，是南宋年间衡山派大弟子，也是武林盟主。

在师父刘轻舟死去后，接掌衡山派掌门。为了下山完成师父的任务，从此开始行走江湖，此间学到碧海潮生.风雷九州.少林七十三绝技.天魔解体大法等神功并杀死天剑客南宫灭.心剑客方勉.消灭五色教，自此武功超群。与张琳心、杨瑛展开爱情，最后在泰山武林大会中夺得武林盟主的职位，担当抗金重任。由于结局有多种。其中一种是独孤剑最终孑然一身，成为独孤求败。隐藏结局是救出岳飞。
在第二部的剑侠情缘中的十年前，武林盟主独孤剑率领江南武林豪杰北上抗金，不幸遭到金国完颜洪烈用计打败，失身被俘。其妻张琳心及其女儿一并战死，衡山派及江南武林元气大伤。之后被囚禁在南宋临安大牢中，后于侄子南宫飞云在大牢中相遇，并传授南宫飞云全身武功。杨瑛得知独孤剑下落后前往临安天牢救走独孤剑并把他安居在洞庭湖养伤。

独孤剑这角色被玩家视为救出岳飞的英雄。由于他对张琳心一见钟情，又同时爱上两个女子。他被认为有一些好色。
在第二部独孤剑做为配角中更是被玩家评价为武功极其高强，不仅传给南宫飞云全身武功，而且自创改良天魔解体大法神功。
