2021年新冠肺炎疫情在台灣蔓延爆發，許多行業不是歇業就是倒閉，王郁揚及友人在廢棄倉庫點燃5百多杯蠟燭排的「悼」字，靜坐為染疫死者祈福，受到媒體報導，他喊話政府勿再政治操作請專心防疫。[10]

嗆董氏基金會菸害防制做半套[编辑]
「要求全面禁菸！」而在記者會進行到一半，王郁揚在現場突然大聲批評，指董氏基金會口口聲聲要政府禁止加熱菸，卻不敢要求政府全面禁止危害更嚴重的紙香菸，更直接點名董氏菸害防制組主任林清麗，指她曾直接掛掉自己的陳情電話。姚思遠 立刻回擊表示，只要王郁揚敢發起要求政府全面禁菸的活動，董氏絕對全力支持。[11][12]
