八期重劃區有臺中市主要幹道文心路恆跨，北邊緊鄰七期與五期重劃區，西北側為美術館特區，南邊為十三期重劃區。
地區建設[编辑]
重劃成果共計6個公園綠地、2個學校、4個停車場、1個市場[1]。較知名者包含：
重劃後隨著市中心西移，好市多、迪卡侬等國際大型批發賣場進駐，生活機能更加成熟，而捷運烏日文心北屯線於文心南路及文心南五路口之南苑公園設有捷運場站豐樂公園站。[2]
