蕭翠瑩為「洗地洗謠言挺婚姻平權」團隊發起人，從2016年11月起透過高壓水柱，以去污沖洗的方法在地上，支持修改《民法》達到婚姻平權[2]。
2020年中華民國立法委員選舉[编辑]
在2020年中華民國立法委員選舉中，蕭翠瑩代表綠黨參選彰化縣第四選舉區[3]。
性別友善問卷[编辑]
蕭翠瑩回應Pridewatch Taiwan的2020性別友善問卷，表示支持台灣成為一個更性別友善、減少歧視的國家、支持進一步完善同性婚姻相關修法，減少同性婚與異性婚之間的差距、支持教育部根據公投結果修訂的施行細則，並在國民義務教育階段持續推動性別平等教育，並願意承諾在競選期間不使用歧視或污名化同志的文宣、或是發言及若有遭到任何歧視同志、仇恨同志或是污名化同志的流言或新聞之攻擊或抹黑，願意澄清、指正錯誤不實的說法[4]。

未出席彰化電視政見會[编辑]
彰化縣選舉委員會在2020年1月2日舉辦彰化縣立委一至四選區公辦電視政見會，蕭翠瑩並末有出席，遭對手，安定力量參選人陳志傑批評小黨難得有發表政見機會，藍綠有人缺席，暗指蕭翠瑩等缺席政見會參選人不敢對鄉親負責[5]。
