謝子仁從小喪父，在經歷了許多困難後，卻以資本額新台幣五萬元成立恩德科技，成為台灣一家OBM廠商，而他也在東吳大學一百週年慶時獲得「傑出校友獎」[1]。
謝子仁致力推動台灣自有品牌行銷國際，之前也曾擔任自創品牌協會與台灣精品廠商協會的理事長，在考量到兩協會性質與機能後，決議於2007年11月20日，將兩協會合併成「台灣精品品牌協會」，他也順理成章地成為該協會的創會理事長，並在對外舉行的論壇中表示：「只要是獲選為『台灣精品』的台灣品牌，不管在哪裡生產，不管是自創品牌或併購取得品牌，都可以加入台灣精品品牌協會，一起為台灣品牌行銷全球打拚。[2]」
2013年1月8日，謝子仁與恩德科技董事盛海天因涉嫌違反《證券交易法》及《中華民國刑法》，被臺灣苗栗地方法院檢察署提起公訴[3]。2014年1月15日，謝子仁以個人生涯規劃為由請辭恩德科技董事長獲准，恩德科技董事會推舉事欣科技董事長廖文嘉以派德投資法人代表身分接任董事長，但謝子仁仍保留董事身分並擔任榮譽董事長。
