鍾兆晉，暱稱斑馬校長[1]。苗栗客家人，生於台東縣關山鎮，長於屏東。明道中學畢業，目前為新北市立永和國民中學校長，國立臺灣師範大學兼任助理教授。[2]全球螞蟻研究權威[3]。 1971年1月25日於臺東縣關山鎮關山國小教師宿舍出生，40天後舉家移居屏東。孩童時期，母親長臥病榻,身為長子遂很早就擔負照顧弟妹的責任，並且以高標準要求自己的學業及品德，而屏東的豔陽和自然純樸的田野則陶冶了其樂觀率直的真性情和愛好自然的生態知覺。[4] 曾獲得美國麻省理工學院2011年度最佳影響力教師獎（2011 MIT Inspirational Teacher Award）[5]。也曾以「科學教師增權賦能」及「創造力訓練」為主題數次在科學教育年會發表演說及論文，並曾接受台師大科教研究所、國北教大和台師大資訊教育研究所以「認知師徒制」、「放聲思考」及「科展探究模組」做為主題進行個案研究的對象。
