- 2005年，获得湛江市青年歌手大赛冠军
- 2006年9月，考进星海音乐学院流行音乐演唱专业 [1]脚本错误：没有“Unsubst”这个模块。
- 2006年，十九岁的钟明秋发行了个人的第一张发烧唱片《钟情》
- 2006年，在星海音乐学院期间参演现代音乐剧《雪狼湖》
- 2007年，发行个人第二张唱片《钟情Ⅱ》并获得年度发烧天碟唱片最佳销量奖[2]。
- 2008年，钟明秋获得星海音乐学院第一届原创歌曲大赛获得最佳作词奖
- 2008年，发行个人第三张发烧唱片《钟情Ⅲ》，同时《钟情Ⅲ》在2008年获得了发烧天碟年度最佳市场奖[3]
- 2009年10月，参加音乐剧《歌剧魅影》的巡演
