- 1987年10月2日 - 計畫建設道路連接岡宮IC（現時：沼津岡宮IC）與玉澤IC（現時：三島玉澤IC）。
- 1988年 - 準備興建長泉IC至加茂IC（現時：三島加茂IC）之間的公路。
- 1989年 - 開始徵用土地建造公路。
- 1990年 - 完成徵用土地建造公路，準備興建岡宮IC（現時：沼津岡宮IC）與長泉IC之公路。
- 1995年 - 開始建造公路。
- 2009年7月27日 - 伊豆縱貫自動車道沼津IC至三島塚原IC開通，此交流道也同時啟用。
- 2010年4月28日 - 長泉IC往三島萩IC的匝道啟用。
