2017年8月26日上午起，網民、義工、傳媒及商戶於香港上環信德中心港澳碼頭聚集，嘗試即日處理物資及安排運輸。有現場義工指，原本一直想為受災澳門居民「做些事」，但未見有人開展。見到網上呼籲後，便認為應該為此「做些事」。 [3] [4]
同日傍晚，噴射飛航發言人宣布「特事特辦」，願意協助捐贈者將有關物資送到澳門。[5]
管理香港上環信德中心港澳碼頭的信德集團發言人則表示，此次是特別安排，除了要聯絡有否澳門團體接收物資外，亦要與相關機構協調、符合清關要求等，所以需要一段時間。 [6]
據黃碩東指，超過1200箱食水、乾糧、消毒用品及等，於26日下午前，完成分批運往澳門。[7]
