針對強恕高中對學生的退學懲處，教育部長蔣偉寧表示，「社會事件當然還是要透過教育的方式給學生輔導」，對於強恕高中的退學處分，蔣偉寧說，「退學我想並不是一個最理想的作為，還是透過教育讓學生有所改變」。[2]
郝龍斌(時任台北市長)[编辑]
事件發生所在地台北市市長郝龍斌在市政會議中表示，這起事件不僅僅是教育、社會局等層面的問題，應該從整體面檢討，要求北市教育局將「關懷弱勢」列為學校教育及公民教育重要的一部份，讓「關懷弱勢」成為台北市文化的一部份。[3]
