1996年出生，從小受到動畫《德克斯特的實驗室》的啟蒙，立志成為科學家。而在她國中及高中時期卻發現自己的興趣在研究歷史，因此大學選擇了歷史系，但是發現自己後來的種種因素導致對歷史興趣缺缺，因此她在大四時創立了Youtube頻道「HOOK」，又繞回了她想成為科學家的初衷，儘管遭到不少人的嘲笑，其影片充滿科普及實驗性質而受到關注[3]。
個人外觀[编辑]
雖然生理性別是女性，但是HOOK的影片總是以短髮亮相，打扮也十分得像男性，也引起了其他網紅拍攝性別刻板印象相關影片[4]；儘管打扮中性，但HOOK在韓國也收到韓國男性的告白[5]，而她也有留長髮的時候，HOOK的長髮婚紗照被台灣媒體及網友一致認為酷似王心凌[6]。
