廖敏芳(Lewis Liaw)，是友立公司創辦人之一，畢業於國立交通大學並在該校取得碩士學位。在創立友立之前，曾在資策會任職六年。
廖敏芳為軟體業數位視訊領域中重要的專家之一。作為友立公司研發部門的負責人，他曾開發了友立第一套視訊編輯軟體，且與業界數家著名公司，如Matrox，Diamond Multimedia，Data Translation，Fast Multimedia，Miro，Samsung，Creative Labs及AZ-Tech簽下OEM契約。之後廖敏芳繼續推動友立目前的視訊產品線並擔任公司與主要企業夥伴間的聯絡人。
在2005年4月之前擔任友立美國子公司總經理，任內在友立美國子公司協助成立光碟燒錄核心技術團隊。在2005年4月英特維數位科技完成收購友立資訊之後昇任為友立總公司總經理。2005年9月因個人因素辭職。
