恐龙，流行于互联网的一些称谓上，用于指代相貌欠佳的年轻女子。一般具有调侃的意味，但当面称呼则带有冒犯性和侮辱性。近年来也有以女性身份出现的互联网使用者以“恐龙”自谦。
名字起源[编辑]
在中文互联网兴起之前，“恐龙”一词并没有这种含义。
在1995年至2000年时期，中国大陆的一些高校推出了BBS系统，在BBS上，由于三国时诸葛亮有个醜到恐怖的老婆，而诸葛亮自称为卧龙，“恐龙”便被予以了“女子相貌不敢恭维”的含义，并在高校互联网中开始使用。
二十世纪末期，随着中國互联网的逐渐普及和即时通讯工具的发展，“恐龙”成了中國大陸及台灣互联网的流行词汇，甚至于整个中文互联网都有所耳闻。香港則稱為豬扒。
近年來在台灣也有「食古不化」或「資訊落後」的含意，如「恐龍法官」等名詞出現。
