新界區專線小巴88C線是由葵青聯運發展營辦的一條專線小巴線，來往美景花園及葵芳站。
簡介及歷史[编辑]
- 約1986年：88M線增設來往美景花園及葵芳地鐵站的區間車。
- 1988年8月15日：88M區間車獲正式編號為88C。
- 2003年7月：原有營辦商宣佈放棄營運。同年9月，經運輸署公開招標，改由葵青聯運專線小巴有限公司營運。[1]
- 2011年9月5日：逢星期一至五下課時間增設特別班次，由細山路香港專業教育學院（青衣分校）外往葵芳站。
客量[编辑]
長青邨、美景花園、青衣IVE及Thei的地理位置比較接近葵芳站，所以本線乘客主要是美景花園及長青邨居民到葵芳站轉乘港鐵荃灣綫往市區，另外有不少就讀青衣IVE的學生，都是搭乘港鐵荃灣綫或巴士到葵芳站轉乘本線上下課，在平日的美景花園小巴總站，排隊人龍可以達到超過50人，所以青衣IVE及Thei的學生亦佔有很大比例。
青衣IVE在2004年9月起設有校巴服務來往葵芳站，雖然青衣IVE開往葵芳站的校巴經常全車爆滿，但因校巴常常要等到客滿才開出，所以對本線的影響不大。
由於大量青衣IVE、Thei學生在放學時段使用88C小巴，不但令排隊人龍不斷加長，而且更影響到美景花園園內的居民，以及美景花園居民不能在該時段登車往葵芳轉乘港鐵或購物，即使小巴公司不斷增加班次亦未能解決問題。因此，屋苑管理方面已從2010年3月22日起，逢星期一至五下午4:30至6:30實施分流措施，居民和非居民分開輪候小巴，以解決小巴人龍問題及將小巴優先使用權給予本園居民。但本措施已取消。
