烏鴉傳說

六龜荖濃地區芒仔芒社大武壠族相傳一則烏鴉與老鷹的傳說，反映出族人生活在山林的觀察。當老鷹盤旋在空中時代表老鷹渴了找不到水喝，所以當部落缺水時也會稱為自己是老鷹。

相傳烏鴉曾邀老鷹一起開通水圳，可以一直有水喝，但老鷹擔心開通水圳會弄髒自己身上美麗的羽毛，因此拒絕了烏鴉。烏鴉只好自己開水圳，並要求老鷹不能喝自己開通的水源，老鷹因此向上天發誓絕口不喝開闢出來的水，像是水圳、水溝的水都不喝，只喝樹洞裡的水。
大武壠族人盛傳，當看到老鷹盤旋在天空鳴叫時，就知道老鷹找不到水喝了，這個時節往往就是冬天降雨較少的時候。
