雙林線[1]為彰化捷運規劃中的路線，目前正辦理可行性研究中。為最初彰化縣政府推動之一軸一環雙樞紐[2]軌道系統中環的部分路廊；目前預計採用輕軌系統，全線皆位於彰化縣境內，路線起點位於員林市員林車站北側，沿途行經埔心鄉、溪湖鎮，終點止於二林鎮[3]。

路線規劃起自員林車站北側靜修路旁，延靜修路西行並南轉員林大道，遇員鹿路後轉西行駛，經過埔心市區之後，高架趴越國道一號員林交流道，之後繼續沿員鹿路進入到溪湖市區，並向北轉入東環路，沿著東環路接西環路繞行半圈後，接回二溪路往西繼續延伸，在二林萬興地區與台76芳苑延伸線相遇，並共用路廊往南進行，後於台76中科聯絡道往西南轉入二林中科園區，與太平路相遇後，以西南方向轉往二林市區，行進至道路終點後往西轉進斗苑路，後續再北轉大成路，終點止於儒林公園附近。
輕軌列車機廠規劃於二林鎮。因道路寬度不足且難以進行拓寬工程，在員林靜修路段以及二林市區段皆為B型路權單軌道配置。跨越國道一號段為雙軌高架配置，高架長度約1340公尺。[3]
BR13站與規劃中的溪湖轉運站共站，轉運站站體位於西環路、文三街及福安路街廓內，目前正申請建築執照中[4]；終點BR24站與規劃中的二林轉運站共站，轉運站站體位於仁愛路、二溪路一段街廓內，目前正進行工程招標作業[5]。
預估尖峰時刻最大通過量為3,848人次/時，列車需求為營運22列、備用3列及維修1列，共計26列。營運模式分為全程車(員林至二林)及區間車(員林至中科)兩種模式，尖峰時段12分鐘一班，區間重疊處為6分鐘一班。

歷史[编辑]

  • 2018年中，彰化縣長候選人王惠美提出交通建設「一軸一環雙樞紐」[6]主張，其中一環指彰南地區與中科園區的聯絡路廊。
  • 2018年10月，彰化縣政府工務處公布全縣整體捷運路網規劃[7]，其中員林、埔心及溪湖有規劃一線服務，二林地區則以田中芳苑線及其支線服務。
  • 2019年7月，彰化縣政府開始進行彰化縣大眾捷運系統「員林-埔心-溪湖-二林線」可行性研究的招標作業，但三次招標作業皆無法決標[8]。
  • 2019年12月，彰化縣政府改以彰化縣「員林-埔心-溪湖-二林」大眾運輸系統發展策略暨先進公共運輸系統可行性研究名義再次進行招標作業，並於2020年1月7日公告決標，此路線開始進行可行性研究評估作業[9]。
  • 2022年10月，彰化縣政府依序在埔心鄉、溪湖鎮、員林市以及二林鎮展開「彰南捷運」可行性研究說明會，並公開路線全長27.86公里，在員林靜修路段以及二林市區採平面單軌配置，國道一號員林交流道處則採高架通過，沿途將設置24座平面車站，起點員林站可與台鐵員林車站轉乘，並規劃有全程車與區間車（員林至中科）兩種運行方式。[10]
  • 2023年1月，彰化縣政府於第20屆第1次臨時會施政報告中，提及此線名為雙林線，並預計將提案於議會審查，待議會同意後，再提報交通部審查。[1]
