饿鬼 (中国)

饿鬼，是中国传说的一种鬼怪。在中国文化里，饿鬼也指因饿而死的鬼魅。[1]
在鬼怪里包括母猪鬼、石精、虎精、押变婆等,它们都是饿鬼。[2]
而中国人所说的鬼神,在佛教多归于“饿鬼”一道。[3]
如果鬼会拿着竹器「匴」(ㄙㄨ ㄢˇ;suǎn)进入屋内,说「给我食物」,那么就是遇上「饿鬼」这种鬼怪了。[4]
