初中學歷，曾為初級園丁。上世紀八十年代後期退休後，以胡妍、欒羽等筆名在澳門《華僑報》的副刊中發表短文，一共百餘篇，內容多為諷刺鞭撻當時社會上的陰暗面，頗受讀者歡迎，在「華座」專欄中佔了一席之地。及後受聘於順德鳳嶺老年大學，專門講授古詩詞和古典文學。[1]龍樵孫亦對中國古董文物有所研究，是一位資深的收藏家。其專欄文章收錄於《鍔未殘》，共139篇。
