- 1988年2月17日 - 京都縱貫自動車道（收費區間）沓掛IC至龜岡IC開通，以及京都縱貫自動車道（免費區間）龜岡IC至千代川IC開通，此交流道也同時啟用。
- 1993年9月9日 - 龜岡IC至千代川IC之間路段開始變為收費區。
