4月4日11:07，宝马车主在微博贴出三次急刹车之前的行车记录仪视频，称对方“从应急车道恶意并线”。

4月4日13:06，比亚迪车主在微博贴出货车出现之前的视频。

4月4日下午，北京交警通知双方前往交管部门接受调查。

4月5日04:18，比亚迪车主发布后续说明。当日8时该帖登上水木清华十大话题榜。

4月5日09:39，北京交警发布情况通报。处罚决定如下： Template:Poemquote

4月5日12:39，宝马车主称自己没有请水军，且不会删除自己所发布的视频。
