金刚智和不空的准提经轨中手印略有不同。
金刚智译《佛说七俱胝佛母心大准提陀罗尼经》：
以二手小指二無名指。相叉入掌。二中指直竪頭相著。二頭指頭附二中指上節側。二大指各附二頭指側即成 [4]。
不空译《七俱胝佛母所说准提陀罗尼经》：
“應結契印。佛部三摩耶印二手虛心合掌。開二頭指屈。輔二中指甲下第一節側。二大指各附二頭指根下即成。”
“次結閼伽印，二手內相叉。竪二中指頭相著。以二頭指捻二中指背。二大指側附二頭指根下。即成根本印。准前根本印。微屈二大指入掌。即成閼伽印。誦真言三遍。”[5]
高七师[6]指出房山石经版本的善无畏译准提法及道㲀所说准提印相同，也和不空的瑜伽印一致，[7] 与网络上流传的一些准提手印结法不同[8]。
