福建人

福建人是指出生或籍貫为福建省或者擁有福建戶籍的人，一般包括按世居地或父母世居地、祖籍地、父母籍貫地为福建一帶，以及出生時家庭已經在使用閩語的人口。可能指：

• 福建省內的各个民系与民族，主要為閩民系，亦包括其他非閩語族群（如闽南民系、福州民系、客家人、江右人及畬族等）。
  • 福建话在欧洲、北美、南美和日本等地即指福州语，因当地福建移民多来源于闽东及闽北民系。
  • 福建話在香港、澳門、东南亚方面即指閩台片闽南语，因其有從福建或潮汕移民以闽南及潮汕民系为主。
  • 海外的闽南语族群多自称“Hokkien”，也有“福建帮”之称。
• 福佬：原為廣東人對闽语使用者的稱呼，後來轉變為部分閩南裔居民的自稱。
