《親仁與天命：從《緇衣》看先秦儒學轉化成「經」》是臺灣歷史學者郭靜云教授的代表作之一。[1]这本书主要通过对出土了两种不同版本的《緇衣》（郭店版和上博版），以及传世的版本，在三种不同版本之间进行细致的校雠考证，通过这样一个具体的个案来观察和讨论经典是如何形成的。[2]一般来说，举凡世界主要文明，都自有其代代相傳的經典。「經」作為一種歷史概念，本身即代表著不同時代的觀念混合。尤其在經書的選編過程中，不但有各種後人對前代文獻的校勘、篩選、詮釋甚至誤讀，也滲入了各種國家、社會和學派的觀點。結合了原作的本意、每個世代的理解與注疏，層層疊疊，又藉經文融為一體。这本書即在透過對《緇衣》篇不同版本的考釋，溯求文獻的原貌，並探究其演化、經化的歷史過程，以及成經後的演變。[2][3][4][5]。
作者认为，经书的演化过程约可分为：选经前、成经、成经后。研究经书的主要难题，即是如何区别这些源于不同时代的内容层迭，以溯求文献的原初面貌，并循迹探究其演化、经化的历史过程，和成经后的诠释演变。理论上，各文明的经书研究方法是基本相类的。而其最关键的史料，就是经书在不同时代的不同版本，尤其是尚未被选定为经书之前的抄本。[3]
