佛山科学技术学院政法学院是佛山科学技术学院的下属学院，前身为佛山师范专科学校马列主义教研室，创立于1983年，现任院长为宁新昌教授。学院下设“政治与行政管理学系”、“法律系”、“公共管理系”等三个系，开设“思想政治教育（师范）”、“法学”、“公共事业管理”等三个本科专业，并与华南师范大学政治与行政学院联合招收硕士研究生。[1]
历史沿革[编辑]
1983年，学院前身之一佛山师范专科学校马列主义教研室成立。
1984年，学院前身之一佛山师范专科学校马列主义政史系成立。
1993年，佛山师范专科学校马列主义教研室与佛山师范专科学校马列主义政史系随佛山师范专科学校并入佛山大学。[2]同年组建佛山大学政史系。
1995年3月，国家教委批准佛山大学和佛山农牧高等专科学校合并升格组建佛山科学技术学院。同年组建佛山科学技术学院政治与行政管理系。[3]
1998年，政管系“思想政治教育专业”改招本科，停招专科。[4]
2003年，学院前身之一佛山科学技术学院法律系成立。[5]同年与佛山科学技术学院政治与行政管理系共同组建佛山科学技术学院政法学院。
2005年，佛山职工医学院和佛山教育学院并入佛山科学技术学院，同年佛山科学技术学院公共管理系并入佛山科学技术学院政法学院。[6]
